By booking a service with Kotha Cleaning, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be provided at least 48 hours before the scheduled service time.
Where less than 48 hours’ notice is provided, Kotha Cleaning Services may charge a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the quoted service price, to reflect the reserved labour time and costs incurred.
If our team arrives and is unable to access the property or begin the service due to circumstances within the client’s control, up to 100% of the quoted service price may be charged.
No cancellation fee will apply where Kotha Cleaning Services cancels the service.
Invoices must be paid by the due date shown on the invoice.
By accepting a quote, confirming a booking, or authorising Kotha Cleaning Services to carry out work, the client agrees to these payment terms.
Any amount remaining unpaid after the due date may incur a late-payment charge of 2% per month on the outstanding invoice balance. The charge will be calculated on a simple, non-compounding basis from the day after the due date until payment is received in full.
The client may also be responsible for reasonable third-party debt-recovery or legal costs actually incurred by Kotha Cleaning Services in recovering an overdue amount.
Kotha Cleaning Services may suspend or cancel future services while an invoice remains overdue. Suspension or cancellation of services does not remove the client’s obligation to pay any outstanding amount.
Any concerns or disputes regarding an invoice must be raised in writing as soon as reasonably possible. Any undisputed portion of the invoice must still be paid by the due date.

Kotha Cleaning Services may take photographs or videos where reasonably necessary to document the condition of the property, record completed work, manage quality concerns, or support an insurance or service-related matter.
Photographs or videos will not be published or used for advertising, social media, website content, or other marketing purposes without the client’s prior consent.
We will take reasonable steps to avoid capturing people, personal documents, addresses, registration plates, family photographs, security information, or other identifying or confidential information.
Kotha Cleaning Services will take reasonable care when providing services.
The client must inform us before work begins of any fragile, damaged, unstable, unusually valuable, or sensitive items or surfaces requiring special care.
Kotha Cleaning Services is not responsible for pre-existing damage, ordinary wear and tear, permanent staining, deterioration, defective materials, insecure fittings, or damage resulting from conditions that were not reasonably visible or disclosed before the service.
Any damage believed to have been caused by our team must be reported in writing as soon as reasonably practicable after the service, together with relevant photographs or supporting information.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986, or other applicable New Zealand law.
Consumers can still have rights to a remedy, partial refund, cancellation, or compensation when a service fails to meet the legal guarantees.
